We are sad to report that John Davies (1939-43) passed away on 9th July this year at the age of 94.
His daughter Jane has been in touch: “He died peacefully in his sleep at the residential home where he had been living happily for the last 15 months of his life. He was very proud of his association with St Michaels and for many years came to the reunions until he was unable to do so.
I was also christened at St Michaels Church in 1957/58 as my parents were living in Great Whitley where my father had a job as a trainee GP.
