This year (2025) sees the 200th anniversary of the birth of the founder of St Michael’s College, Rev. Sir Frederick Arthur Gore Ouseley.
Various events are being planned, and one such event was at the Three Choirs Festival, this year in Hereford, which included Ouseley’s anthem Jerusalem on High in a broadcast Choral Evensong on Wednesday July 30th (BBC Radio 3).
That morning, Roger Judd gave a talk on Ouseley as part of the programme of events at the Three Choirs festival at The Green Dragon Hotel.
Roger is reprising the talk in St Michael’s Church on Sunday 10th August at 11am and at the Society’s annual meeting on 27th September.
