Hi everyone
As many will know by now, sadly the college in its latest incarnation as St Michael Abbey School is closing at the end of the academic year. It has been open for less than a year.
We will try to bring you news of what plans the owners have for the site as soon as we can.
You should have the date of our annual Reunion in your diaries – Saturday, September 26th. Please go through your contacts book and let any of your contemporaries know about the date.
Although the school is closing, we have been invited to hold our AGM in the old college library once again.
Following members’ survey feedback, we are planning to have a dinner this year, but at an earlier time than normal, and to hold it in the St Michael’s Village Hall (complete with bar!).
More details of the day will be sent out very shortly.
Can we make a final appeal for any news articles, news of old boys/girls, old photos etc. that might be included in the society’s Magazine to be sent to the editor Frederick Appleby fwsappleby@gmail.com by the end of June at the latest.
